Secondary diaminophosphanes 1c-e as well as alkylaminophosphanes 1g, h are available by the reaction of the corresponding chlorophosphanes with lithium-tetrahydridoaluminate.With triethylamine containing three equivalents of hydrogen fluoride, the aminophosphanes 1d, g are converted into the secondary fluorophosphanes 2a, b.While 1c-e are thermally quite stable, 1f-h and 2a, b decompose to give diphosphanes through elimination of amine and hydrogen fluoride. - Key words: Secondary Aminophosphanes, Decomposition, Substitution, Reactions with HF
