The invention discloses a seleno-indocyanine green derivative which has a structural formula as shown in a formula (1). Introduction of selenium atoms enables the maximum absorption wavelength of the indocyanine green derivative to shift to red , and the indocyanine green derivative has high biocompatibility, higher singlet oxygen quantum yield and photothermal conversion efficiency, high stability and low cytotoxicity, and therefore, as a near-infrared fluorescent reagent, the seleno-indocyanine green derivative has high application potential in preparation of a fluorescent hospital guide imaging reagent and preparation of phototherapy photosensitizer drugs . In addition, the preparation process of the seleno-indocyanine green derivative is simple, raw materials are easy to obtain, the cost is low, and mass production can be achieved.
