The invention provides an imidazole pyridine compound. A structural formula of the compound is shown in the description. The imidazole pyridine compound has great thermal stability, high luminous efficiency and high luminescence purity and can be applied to the field of organic electroluminescence devices, solar batteries and organic thin film transistors or organic photoreceptors. The invention also provides an organic electroluminescence device, and the organic electroluminescence device includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode and organic layers, wherein the organic layers include at least one of a luminous layer, a hole injection layer, a hole transmission layer, a hole blocking layer, an electron injection layer and an electron transmission layer, and at least one layer ofthe organic layers contains the imidazole pyridine compound shown as a structural formula I. The organic electroluminescence device made of the imidazole pyridine compound has the advantages of high electroluminescence efficiency, high color purity and a long service life.
