Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 317358-03-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 3,1,7,3,5 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 317358-03:
(8*3)+(7*1)+(6*7)+(5*3)+(4*5)+(3*8)+(2*0)+(1*3)=135
135 % 10 = 5
So 317358-03-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A series of pyrrolidine-based organocatalysts which bear three synergistic features, i.e. secondary amino group, various H-bond donor groups at the 4-position and a stereocontrol silyl ether group at the α-position of the pyrrolidine nitrogen atom, were d

Anti-selective Mannich reactions of N-Boc and N-Cbz protected imines with unmodified aldehydes proceeded smoothly under the catalysis of a secondary amine-thiourea catalyst, which led to high yields (70%-95%) and excellent enantioselectivity (up to 964 dr

Highly enantioselective Michael addition reactions in water catalyzed by an insoluble MPS-supported 4-sulfonamidyl prolinol tert-butyldiphenylsilyl ether

The development of a highly efficient, insoluble, and non-swelling MPS-supported organocatalyst for the direct asymmetric Michael reaction of ketones and aldehydes to nitrostyrenes at room temperature in water is described. Excellent yields (up to 100%) a

4-Trifluoromethanesulfonamidyl prolinol tert-butyldiphenylsilyl ether as a highly efficient bifunctional organocatalyst for Michael addition of ketones and aldehydes to nitroolefins

Wang, Chao,Yu, Chun,Liu, Changlu,Peng, Yungui

supporting information; experimental part, p. 2363 - 2366 (2009/08/17)

4-Trifluoromethanesulfonamidyl prolinol tert-butyldiphenylsilyl ether bifunctional organocatalyst 3a is a highly efficient catalyst for the asymmetric Michael addition reactions of ketones and aldehydes to nitrostyrenes, leading to syn-selective adducts with excellent yields (>99%), high diastereoselectivities (up to 99:1 dr) and excellent enantioselectivities (up to 99% ee). Control experiments suggested that the trans-configuration relationship between the bulky group (-CH2OTBDPS) and the sulfonamido group at the 4-position of the pyrrolidine ring was important to achieve high yield and stereoselectivity.
