ω-(Dimethylamino)-4',γ,γ-trimethyl-ω-(p-tolyl)valerophenone is a chemical compound commonly referred to as "Ultraviolet Absorber UV-5411" and is used as a UV absorber in plastics, coatings, adhesives, and other polymers to protect them from degradation caused by UV radiation. It is a solid, white to yellowish powder with a molecular formula of C26H37NO and a molecular weight of 387.57 g/mol. It is soluble in organic solvents and has a high thermal stability, making it suitable for use in various industrial applications.
