34273-04-6 Usage

Description

Guanylyl Imidodiphosphate, also known as Guanosine 5'-[β,γ-imido]triphosphate or Gpp(NH)p, is a nucleoside triphosphate analogue that is GTP in which the oxygen atom bridging the betato the gamma-phosphate is replaced by a nitrogen atom. It is a non-hydrolyzable analog of GTP, which binds tightly to G-protein in the presence of Mg2+.

Uses

Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
Guanylyl Imidodiphosphate is used as a pharmacological tool for studying the function and regulation of G-proteins and their associated signaling pathways. It can activate G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) in a sustained manner, allowing researchers to investigate the downstream effects of GPCR activation.
Used in Research Applications:
Guanylyl Imidodiphosphate is used as a research reagent to study the role of G-proteins in various cellular processes, such as signal transduction, cell proliferation, and cell differentiation. It can also be used to investigate the mechanisms of GPCR activation and the development of new drugs targeting these receptors.
Used in Biochemical Assays:
Guanylyl Imidodiphosphate is used as a substrate in various biochemical assays to measure the activity of enzymes involved in the regulation of G-protein signaling, such as G-protein-coupled receptor kinases (GRKs) and phosphodiesterases (PDEs). This can help in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying GPCR desensitization and signal termination.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 34273-04-6 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 3,4,2,7 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 34273-04:
(7*3)+(6*4)+(5*2)+(4*7)+(3*3)+(2*0)+(1*4)=96
96 % 10 = 6
So 34273-04-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
