Synthetic studies on ciguatoxin: A highly convergent synthesis of the GHIJKLM ring system based on b-alkyl suzuki coupling

Access to polycyclic polyethers is facilitated by a synthetic strategy involving two-step B-alkyl Suzuki coupling reactions for the stereo-selective construction of the polyether skeleton.
