Cycloheptapyrroloimidazoles (1,3a-diazacyclopentazulenes) (2) and cycloheptimidazoimidazoles (1,3a,9-triazacyclopentazulenes) (6) were synthesized from 2-aminocycloheptapyrroles and 2-aminocycloheptimidazole, respectively, i
