35441-11-3 Usage
Uses
2,6-Dihydroxynicotinamide may be used in chemical synthesis.
General Description
2,6-Dihydroxynicotinamide is an nicotinamide derivative. It can be prepared by the reaction of 1,3-dimethyluracil with malonamide in ethanolic sodium ethoxide, followed by the neutralization of reaction mixture with HCl.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 35441-11-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 3,5,4,4 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 35441-11:
(7*3)+(6*5)+(5*4)+(4*4)+(3*1)+(2*1)+(1*1)=93
93 % 10 = 3
So 35441-11-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

NOVEL RING TRANSFORMATION REACTIONS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS TO THE SYNTHESES OF POTENTIAL ANTICANCER HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS
Watanabe, K. A.,Su, T.-L.,Pankiewicz, K. W.,Harada, K.
, p. 289 - 307 (2007/10/02)
Novel heterocyclic ring trasformation reactions developed recently in our laboratory are described. They include pyrimidine to pyrimidine, pyrimidine to pyridine transformations. Also discussed are novel one-step procedures for conversion of 1,3-dimethyluracil derivatives into the pyridopyrimidine system. Some applications of these novel reactions to the syntheses of compounds of biological interest are also described.
