Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 3583-00-4 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 3,5,8 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 3583-00:
(6*3)+(5*5)+(4*8)+(3*3)+(2*0)+(1*0)=84
84 % 10 = 4
So 3583-00-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Perfume compositions with 4-isopropyl-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane
-
, (2008/06/13)
A perfumery composition consisting essentially of from 1% to 50% by weight of a 4-isopropyl-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane of the formula STR1 wherein R1 and R2 are individually members selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl having from 1 to 3 carbon atoms and cyclopropyl, and the remainder customary constituents of perfumery compositions; as well as novel 4-isopropyl-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-dioxanes of the above formula wherein both R1 and R2 are not simultaneously hydrogen.
