Usage

General Description

3-ethyl-1-phenyl-2-thioxoimidazolidin-4-one, also known as Eptifibatide, is a synthetic cyclic heptapeptide that belongs to the class of antiplatelet drugs. It acts as a platelet aggregation inhibitor and is used to prevent blood clots in patients with acute coronary syndromes or those undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention procedures.
