Reaction of 6aSiv-2,5-bisarylaminodithiazolodithiazoles (I) with arylamines has been found to yield 1-aryl-2-arylamino-6-aryliminotetrahydro-1,3,5-triazine-4-thiones (III) via a 1,3-bisamidinothiourea (II) by its intramolecular cyclisation with the elimination of a molecule of amine.
