A fast, cheap and simple method of enzymatic synthesis of γ--GTP on chloroplasts (basically as mentioned by Conway and Lipmann) is presented.The purity of substrates and the identification of products was performed by paper chromatography, column chromatography and high pressure liquid chromatography.The synthesized γ--GTP was pure and biologically active in a binary complex formation with the elongation factor 1 (EF1).
