37270-94-3 Usage
General Description
Platelet factor-4 (PF-4) is a CXC chemokine that is expressed in megakaryocytes and stored in the alpha-granules of platelets. The gene encoding this protein is localized on human chromosome 4. Recombinant human PF-4 is a 7.8kDa protein containing 70 amino acid residues, including the four highly conserved residues present in CXC chemokines.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Platelet factor-4 (PF-4) is chemotactic towards neutrophils and monocytes and has been shown to inhibit angiogenesis. This protein associates with heparin and neutralizes it. It also neutralizes various negatively charged proteoglycans.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 37270-94-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 3,7,2,7 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 37270-94:
(7*3)+(6*7)+(5*2)+(4*7)+(3*0)+(2*9)+(1*4)=123
123 % 10 = 3
So 37270-94-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
