Used in Textile Industry:
Vat Red 1, Solubilized is used as a dye for cotton fabric dyeing and printing. Despite its brittle nature, its bright light makes it widely used. It can be applied through direct printing, discharge printing, and dyeing. It is also used to dye polyester/cotton, Peacekeeping/cotton, and wool, silk fabric, etc.
Used in Polyester Melting Method Dye:
Vat Red 1, Solubilized is used in the polyester melt method dye, which results in a brighter color than cotton.

Vat Red 1 leuco : (b) used in Pyridine metal (such as copper, iron, zinc, etc) and Sulfur trioxide source (such as Sulfur trioxide, Chlorosulfonic acid or Methyl chlorosulfonate) processing C.I. Vat Red 1. The above two kinds of circumstances are through with alkali, filter out the insoluble,remove Pyridine and salting-out.
