Description
Proteasome Inhibitor XVI is a cell-permeable, peptide vinyl sulfone that serves as a potent and irreversible inhibitor of proteasome activity. It covalently modifies the catalytically active β-subunits of the proteasome, thereby inhibiting its function. This inhibitor has been shown to effectively suppress the chymotrypsin-like, trypsin-like, and peptidyl glutamyl peptide hydrolyzing (PGPH) activities of purified 20S proteasomes from rabbit muscle. Additionally, it inhibits the proteasomal degradation of deglycosylated MHC HLA-A2 heavy chain in US11+ cells.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 389064-25-9 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 3,8,9,0,6 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 389064-25:
(8*3)+(7*8)+(6*9)+(5*0)+(4*6)+(3*4)+(2*2)+(1*5)=179
179 % 10 = 9
So 389064-25-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
