General Description

1,1,1-Trifluoro-2-butyne, also known as trifluoro-sec-butyl acetylene, is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C4H5F3. It is a colorless, flammable gas with a faint odor and is highly reactive. It is commonly used as a building block in the synthesis of various pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and specialty chemicals.
