Description

N,N'-(2,5-dichloro-1,4-phenylene)bis[4-[(2,5-dichlorophenyl)azo]-3-hydroxynaphthalene-2-carboxamide] is a red powder with a bluish shade. It has a heat resistance of at least 300°C, light fastness of 7, and moderate resistance to acid and alkali with a rating of 5. The fastness to bleeding is also 5, and it has an oil absorption rate of 40-50%. The specific surface area is 28 m2/g, and the density is 1.60 g/cm3. The residue on 80 mesh is a maximum of 5.0%, and both the water solubility and the volatilite at 105 °C are a maximum of 1.0%. The tinting strength is between 100-105%.
