General Description

1,3,5-Triazin-2(1H)-imine,1,4,6-trimethyl-(9CI) is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C6H9N3. It is a derivative of 1,3,5-triazine and contains three nitrogen atoms in a six-membered ring. 1,3,5-Triazin-2(1H)-imine,1,4,6-trimethyl-(9CI) is also known as Melamine and is commonly used in the production of plastics, adhesives, and fire retardant materials. Melamine is also used as a nitrogen-rich fertilizer and in the manufacturing of resins and coatings. It is a white crystalline solid with a high melting point and is considered to be stable under normal conditions.
