Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 41412-45-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 4,1,4,1 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 41412-45:
(7*4)+(6*1)+(5*4)+(4*1)+(3*2)+(2*4)+(1*5)=77
77 % 10 = 7
So 41412-45-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Spectroscopic studies of inclusion complex of β-cyclodextrin and benzidine diammonium dipicrate

Hamdi,Abderrahim,Meganem

, p. 32 - 36 (2010)

Formation of inclusion complex between benzidine diammonium dipicrate and β-cyclodextrin with stoichiometry 1:2 (guest-host) has been established by UV, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR spectra and powder X-ray diffractometry. 1H NMR studies are used to confirm the inclusion and to provide information on the geometry of dipicrate inside the cavity of β-cyclodextrin.

SPECTROSCOPIC STUDY OF THE DONOR BEHAVIOUR OF BENZIDINE DERIVATIVES TOWARDS AROMATIC NITRO COMPOUNDS

Issa, Y. M.,El-Ansary, A. L.,Gaber, M.,Issa, R. M.

, p. 273 - 282 (2007/10/02)

The solid CT complexes of three benzidine derivatives with nine tri- and dinitrobenzenes are prepared and investigated by elemental analysis, IR, electronic absorption and proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy. The results of microanalysis revealed that strong acceptors can form 1:1 and 1:2 complexes, while weak acceptors form only the 1:1 type (donor : acceptor). The spectral changes revealed that acidic acceptors form complexes with ? - ?* electronic interaction and proton transfer, while non acidic acceptors yield complexes having the ? - ?* transition.
