2-[[2-(acetyloxy)-3-(1,1-dimethyl-ethyl)-5-methylphenyl]methyl]-6-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-methylphenol, also known as BHT-ACETATE, is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C28H38O4. It is a derivative of the commonly used antioxidant butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), which is often added to food products to prevent oxidative rancidity and preserve flavor.
