Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 41653-99-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 4,1,6,5 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 41653-99:
(7*4)+(6*1)+(5*6)+(4*5)+(3*3)+(2*9)+(1*9)=120
120 % 10 = 0
So 41653-99-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

MACROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS USEFUL AS INHIBITORS OF KINASES AND HSP90
-
Page/Page column 90-91, (2010/11/30)
Disclosed are macrocyclic compounds of formulae I-V,which are analogs of the pochonin resorcylic acid lactones, and processes for the preparation of the compounds. The compounds disclosed are useful as inhibitors of kinases and Heat Shock Protein 90 (HSP 90). Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions comprising an effective kinase-inhibiting amount or an effective HSP90-inhibiting amount of the compounds and methods for the treatment of disorders that are mediated by kinases and HSP90.

The influence of strong and weak bases in different solvents on the (E)/(Z) ratio of the Ramberg-Baecklund olefin synthesis of α-halosulfoncarboxylic acids in studied. With potassium tert-butoxide in dry dimethyl sulfoxide (E) ratios of more than 97 percent are achieved. With weak bases, such as 0.25 N sodium hydroxide, we found only equal amounts of (E) and (Z) olefins, apart from a few exceptions.
