Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 42294-95-1 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 4,2,2,9 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 42294-95:
(7*4)+(6*2)+(5*2)+(4*9)+(3*4)+(2*9)+(1*5)=121
121 % 10 = 1
So 42294-95-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis and reactions of [Co(RCN){PPh(OEt)2}3{η2-C6H 5PO(OEt)2}]BPh4 derivatives: Strong evidence for η2-coordination of the phenyl ring of the C6H5PO(OEt)2 ligand

Albertin, Gabriele,Antoniutti, Stefano,Bordignon, Emilio,Carlon, Michela

, p. 2052 - 2054 (2008/10/08)

Cobalt(I) complexes [Co(RCN)P3{η2-C6H5PO-(OEt) 2}]BPh4 (1; R = Me, Ph; P = PPh(OEt)2) were prepared by allowing [CoClP4]BPh4 compound to react with zinc dust in a cosolvent mixture of nitrile and ethanol. η2-Coordination of the arene ring of the C6H5-PO(OEt)2 ligand was confirmed by 1H and 13C NMR spectra and decoupling experiments. Substitution reactions with CO or isocyanide gave free C6H5PO(OEt)2, RCN, and [Co(CO)2P3]+ Or[Co(RNC)2P3]+ cations. Treatment of 1 with H2 (1 atm), in either the presence or absence of a heterogeneous catalyst, gave the unstable cobalt(III) dihydride derivative [CoH2P3{η2-C6H 5PO-(OEt)2}]+.

Reactivity of the Hydride 4> with RN2+ (R = aryl), NO+, and H+ Cations: Preparation and Properties of New Cobalt Complexes. Measurements of T1 for 4> and 4>BPh4

Albertin, Gabriele,Amendola, Paola,Antoniutti, Stefano,Bordignon, Emilio

, p. 2979 - 2984 (2007/10/02)

The reaction of 4> with RN2+ (R = 4-CH3C6H4) affords the paramagnetic cationic hydride 4>+, with NO+ the dinitrosyl cation 2>+, and with HBF4*Et2O the cationic dihydride 4>+.Characterization of the complexes by i.r., e.s.r., and variable-temperatrure 1H and 31P- n.m.r. spectra is described.Variable-temperature 1H n.m.r.T1 measurements at 80, 200, and 400 MHz for both 4> and 4>BPh4 are also reported. The reactivity of the cationic hydrides with CO, RNC, NO,I2, and RN2+ was investigated and the new cations 3>+ (R = 4-CH3C6H4, 4-CH3OC6H4, or 4-ClC6H4) and 4>+ synthesized. The unstable intermediate 4>+ -1> was also detected.
