The organic synthesis via transition metal complexes was studied. 3-aza-1-metallahexa-1,3,5-trienes were obtained in good yields by condensation of the (NH2-amino)carbene complexes (CO)5M=C(Ph)NH2 (M = Cr, W) with α,β-unsaturated acid amides in the presence of phosphoryl chloride and triethylamine. The hexatrienes were found to undergo thermally induced π-cyclization to pyrroles.
