Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 4537-77-3 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 4,5,3 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 4537-77:
(6*4)+(5*5)+(4*3)+(3*7)+(2*7)+(1*7)=103
103 % 10 = 3
So 4537-77-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

INVESTIGATIONS IN THE REGION OF LIPIDS. SYNTHESIS OF PHOSPHATIDYLGLYCEROL AND DIPHOSPHATIDYLGLYCEROL
Stepanov, A. E.,Makarova, I. M.,Shvets, V. I.
, p. 896 - 899 (2007/10/02)
The synthesis of phosphatidylglycerol and diphosphatidylglycerol with the natural structures was realized on the basis of the condensation of phosphatidic acid with 2-O-benzylglycerol in the presence of 2,4,6-triisopropylbenzenesulfonyl chloride.Subsequent chromatographic separation of the benzylated derivatives of polyglycerophospholipids and removal of the benzyl groups under the conditions of catalytic hydrogenolysis led to the desired compounds phosphatidylglycerol and diphosphatidilglycerol.
