1-Thia-4-azaspiro[4.5]decan-3-one, also known as thianorphine, is a synthetic opioid analgesic with potential pharmaceutical applications. It is a spiro compound that acts as a potent agonist at the μ-opioid receptor, which is involved in mediating the effects of opioid drugs such as morphine.
Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
1-Thia-4-azaspiro[4.5]decan-3-one is used as a pain management agent for its analgesic properties similar to morphine but with less potential for respiratory depression and physical dependence.
1-Thia-4-azaspiro[4.5]decan-3-one is also used as a potential antidepressant and anxiolytic, making it a promising candidate for further research and development in the pharmaceutical industry.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 4580-63-6 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 4,5,8 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 4580-63:
(6*4)+(5*5)+(4*8)+(3*0)+(2*6)+(1*3)=96
96 % 10 = 6
So 4580-63-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Characterization and Toxicity of Organotin(IV) Halide Complexes of Cyclohexanone Spirothiazolidinone and 3-Aminorhodanine

Siddiqi, K. S.,Kureshy, R. I.,Khan, N. H.,Khan, L. A.,Tabassum, S.,Zaidi, S. A. A.

, p. 954 - 956 (2007/10/02)

Complexes of organotin(IV) halides with cyclohexanone spirothiazolidinone (I) and 3-aminorhodanine (II) of the types R3SnL and R2SnL2 ( R = methyl, butyl, phenyl and L = I or II) have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of their elemental analyses and IR spectra. The complexes are non-electrolytes in nitromethane or nitrobenzene. Both di- and triorganotin(IV) complexes of cyclohexanone spirothizolidinone are tetrahedral while those of 3-aminorhodanine are trigonal-bipyramidal or octahedral. The toxic effects of the ligands and the complexes on fish (Heteropneustes fossilis) and cockroach (Periplaneta americana) have been studied. The triorganotin(IV) complexes of (I) and (II) are more toxic than those of diorganotin(IV).
