Suau, Rafael,Cuevas, Ana,Garcia, Ana Isabel,Rico, Rodrigo,Cabezudo, Baltasar
, p. 3315 - 3317 (1991)
Key Word Index - Platycapnos saxicola; P. spicata; P. tenuiloba subsp. tenuiloba; P. tenuiloba subsp. parallela; Papaveraceae; Fumariaceae; aporphine alkaloids; morphinandienone alkaloids; phenanthrene alkaloids; chemosystematics. Abstract - The genus Platycapnos differs from all other genera of the Fumariaceae in its alkaloid composition. The morphinandienone sinoacutine is the major alkaloid in the perennial P. saxicola while the annual species of the genus, P. spicata, P. tenuiloba subsp. tenuiloba and P. tenuiloba subsp. parallela contain high concentrations of aporphinoid alkaloids, mainly glaucine, nantenine and thalicthuberine.

Reductive Dicarbonyl Coupling with Low-valent Titanium Reagents: a New Entry to Phenanthrene Alkaloids
Seijas, Julio A.,Lera, Angel R. de,Villaverde, M. Carmen,Castedo, Luis
, p. 839 - 840 (2007/10/02)
A new and direct synthesis of phenanthrene alkaloids using a low-valent titanium reagent is described which is compatible with ethoxycarbonyl as the N-protecting group.
