1,3,5-Hexanetrione, 1-(4-methoxyphenyl)- is a chemical compound also known as 4-Methoxyacetophenone. It is a white crystalline solid with a melting point of 112-114°C and a boiling point of 265°C. 1,3,5-Hexanetrione, 1-(4-methoxyphenyl)- is commonly used as a fragrance ingredient, flavoring agent, and intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and other organic compounds. It is also used in the manufacturing of dyes and pigments. 1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,5-Hexanetrione is known to have antioxidant properties and is used in the production of sunscreen and other cosmetic products.
