482333-74-4 Usage

Description

Saccharin 1-methylimidazole is a chemical activator that has been commonly used in solid-phase synthesis of DNA and RNA oligonucleotides. It catalyzes the phosphoramidite coupling reaction of the 5'' hydroxy of immobilized nucleosides and the amine group of nucleoside phosphoramidite. Saccharin 1-methylimidazole has been used to synthesize single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) oligonucleotides that are resistant to nuclease digestion.

Uses

Saccharin 1-Methylimidazole is a reagent used for nucleic acid synthesis (1,2).

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 482333-74-4 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 4,8,2,3,3 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 482333-74:
(8*4)+(7*8)+(6*2)+(5*3)+(4*3)+(3*3)+(2*7)+(1*4)=154
154 % 10 = 4
So 482333-74-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
