503629-25-2 Usage
General Description
1,4-Benzenediamine, N-[3-(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)propyl]-, also known as Methyl-ppd, is a chemical compound used as a raw material in the production of hair dyes. It is categorized as a p-phenylenediamine (PPD) derivative and is commonly used in hair coloring products due to its ability to produce long-lasting and vibrant color. However, its use has been associated with various adverse effects, including allergic contact dermatitis and respiratory tract irritation. In addition, Methyl-ppd is considered toxic to aquatic organisms and may have harmful effects on the environment. Due to these concerns, regulatory agencies have placed restrictions on the use of Methyl-ppd in cosmetic products and have recommended alternatives to reduce the potential health and environmental risks associated with its use.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 503629-25-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 5,0,3,6,2 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 503629-25:
(8*5)+(7*0)+(6*3)+(5*6)+(4*2)+(3*9)+(2*2)+(1*5)=132
132 % 10 = 2
So 503629-25-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A series of 4,5-di-substituted acridones have been designed and synthesized. Several compounds show high affinity for telomeric G-quadruplex DNA in classical and competition FRET assays, together with low duplex DNA affinity, although they do not show activity in a telomerase assay or evidence of telomere shortening. They have low toxicity against a panel of cancer cell lines and a normal human fibroblast line, and produce potent senescence-based long-term growth arrest in the MCF7 and A549 cancer cell lines.
