Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 50408-95-2 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 5,0,4,0 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 50408-95:
(7*5)+(6*0)+(5*4)+(4*0)+(3*8)+(2*9)+(1*5)=102
102 % 10 = 2
So 50408-95-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Process for producing 3,5-difluoraniline
-
, (2008/06/13)
A process for producing 3,5-difluoroaniline, which comprises reacting a benzonitrile compound of the formula (I): STR1 wherein each of X1, X2 and X3 is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine or a cyano group, provided that at least one of X1 to X3 is a cyano group, with a mineral acid for hydrolysis and decarboxylation to obtain an aniline compound of the formula (II): STR2 wherein each of X4, X5 and X6 is hydrogen, chlorine or bromine, provided that at least one of X4 to X6 is hydrogen, and in the case of a compound of the formula (II) wherein X4, X5 and X6 are not simultaneously hydrogen, reacting such a compound with hydrogen in a presence of a catalyst for reduction to obtain 3,5 -difluoroaniline.
