Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 52121-08-1 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 5,2,1,2 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 52121-08:
(7*5)+(6*2)+(5*1)+(4*2)+(3*1)+(2*0)+(1*8)=71
71 % 10 = 1
So 52121-08-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

The synthesis and biological properties of some 2 heteroylimino 5 nitro 4 thiazoline 3 acetamides and some 1 (carbamoylmethyl) 1 (5 nitro 2 thiazolyl)ureas together with the corresponding ring N substituted [3 (carbamoylmethyl) 5 nitro 4 thiazolin 2 ylidene]ureas (I, R is NHR1) are described. The compounds were prepared by treatment of a DMF solution of the Na salt of the appropriate amide or urea with halo acetamides. Some of them have significant antischistosome properties.
