supporting information, p. 1744 - 1748 (2019/02/20)
Catalysts capable of heterolytic silane activation have been successfully applied to the conversion of alkyl ethers to silyl ethers via C-O bond cleavage. The previously-reported cationic pincer-supported iridium complex for this transformation suffers fr

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a salt of an isolated compound containing an amide group, a method for producing the same, and a method for synthesizing an amide compound using the same. SOLUTION: The present invention provides a salt of an isolated compound containing an amide group represented by formula (1) (M is an element belonging to group 1 in the periodic table; P is a first protective group of an amine represented by R1-O(C=O)-; Q is a second protective group of an amine represented by R2-(C=O)-; R1 and R2 independently represent a substituted/unsubstituted hydrocarbon group). (Chemical Equation Presented) Retro-aldol reaction: Indium-catalyzed reaction of a 1,3-diketone with an alcohol proceeds under solvent-free conditions by nucleophilic attack of the alcohol on a carbonyl group of the 1,3-diketone and carbon-carbon bond cleavage by a retro-Claisen condensation to give an ester in high yield (see scheme). Using water and an amine as nucleophiles instead of an alcohol gave the corresponding carboxylic acid and amide.
