53271-83-3 Usage

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 53271-83-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 5,3,2,7 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 53271-83:
(7*5)+(6*3)+(5*2)+(4*7)+(3*1)+(2*8)+(1*3)=113
113 % 10 = 3
So 53271-83-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
