experimental part, p. 742 - 746 (2011/07/08)
A new minor polyoxygenated triterpene named glutinolic acid (1) and two new aeginetic acid quinovosides (2, 3) were isolated from the roots of Rehmannia glutinosa LIBOSCH. (Scrophulariaceae) cultivated in Gunwi-gun, Korea. The structures of these compounds were established as 3 α,19 α,20 β,24,30-pentahydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid (1, glutinolic acid), aeginetic acid 5-O- β-D-quinovoside (2) and aeginetoyl ajugol 5″-O- β-D-quinovoside (3) on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidence.
Ionones and &β-Ionylideneacetic Acids: Their Influence on Abscisic Acid Biosynthesis by Cercospora rosicola

, p. 2887 - 2892 (2007/10/02)
Several ionones and β-ionylideneacetic acids inhibited absicisic acid (ABA) biosynthesis in Cercospora rosicola at 100 μM.At lower concentrations, α-ionone, 1',2'-dihydroxy-1',2'-dihydro-β-ionone and 4'-keto-α-ionone enhanced ABA biosynthesis.Conversions
