Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 53731-15-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 5,3,7,3 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 53731-15:
(7*5)+(6*3)+(5*7)+(4*3)+(3*1)+(2*1)+(1*5)=110
110 % 10 = 0
So 53731-15-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Comparison of 1H-19F two-dimensional NMR scalar coupling correlation pulse sequences

Marchione, Alexander A.,Dooley, Rebecca J.,Conklin, Breanna

, p. 183 - 189 (2014)

The effectiveness of hetero-COSY, HETCOR, HMQC, and HSQC two-dimensional NMR pulse sequences for detection of 19F-1H correlations by scalar coupling was evaluated on monofluorinated and polyfluorinated test compounds. All four of the

Light-Mediated Formal Radical Deoxyfluorination of Tertiary Alcohols through Selective Single-Electron Oxidation with TEDA2+.

Aguilar Troyano, Francisco José,Ballaschk, Frederic,Jaschinski, Marcel,?zkaya, Yasemin,Gómez-Suárez, Adrián

, p. 14054 - 14058 (2019/11/11)

The synthesis of tertiary alkyl fluorides through a formal radical deoxyfluorination process is described herein. This light-mediated, catalyst-free methodology is fast and broadly applicable allowing for the preparation of C?F bonds from (hetero)benzylic, propargylic, and non-activated tertiary alcohol derivatives. Preliminary mechanistic studies support that the key step of the reaction is the single-electron oxidation of cesium oxalates—which are readily available from the corresponding tertiary alcohols—with in situ generated TEDA2+. (TEDA: N-(chloromethyl)triethylenediamine), a radical cation derived from Selectfluor.

Practical and general method for direct synthesis of alkyl fluorides from alcohols under mild conditions

A variety of alcohols were treated with Ph 3P and KF in CCl 4-DMF at room temperature to afford the corresponding fluorides in very good yields. Springer-Verlag 2005.

Bis(2-methoxyethyl)aminosulfur trifluoride: A new broad-spectrum deoxofluorinating agent with enhanced thermal stability

Lal, Gauri S.,Pez, Guido P.,Pesaresi, Reno J.,Prozonic, Frank M.,Cheng, Hansong

, p. 7048 - 7054 (2007/10/03)

Bis(2-methoxyethyl)aminosulfur trifluoride, (CH3OCH2CH2)2NSF3 (Deoxo-Fluor reagent), is a new deoxofluorinating agent that is much more thermally stable than DAST (C2H5)2NSF3 and its congeners. It is effective for the conversion of alcohols to alkyl fluorides, aldehydes/ketones to the corresponding gem-difluorides, and carboxylic acids to the trifluoromethyl derivatives with, in some cases, superior performance compared to DAST. The enhanced stability is rationalized on the basis of conformational rigidity imposed by a coordination of the alkoxy groups with the electron-deficient sulfur atom of the trifluoride.

Dialkylaminosulfur trifluorides as fluorinating agents

-

, (2008/06/13)

Dialkylaminosulfur trifluorides such as diethylaminosulfur trifluoride are useful in replacing hydroxyl group and carbonyl oxygen with fluorine in various organic compounds.
