, p. 83 - 85 (2007/10/03)
A number of 2, 4-N-aryl-as-triazines (2) have been synthesized as analogues of 3-aryl-s-tetrazines which have potential anti-inflammatory activity. Compounds 2 show activity against carrageenan induced edema in the rat. All the compounds (0.20 mm) inhibt

, p. 1119 - 1121 (2007/10/02)
Some arylazo-cyanoacetamides (Ia-c) have been prepared and treated with benzaldehyde to give the corresponding triazine derivatives (IIa-c).Fusion of cyanoacetamide with phthalic anhydride and benzaldehydes affords phthalidylidene-cyanoacetamide (III) and arylidene-cyanoacetamides (Va-c) respectively.Further reactions of these products have been investigated.
