Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 547768-63-8 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 5,4,7,7,6 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 547768-63:
(8*5)+(7*4)+(6*7)+(5*7)+(4*6)+(3*8)+(2*6)+(1*3)=208
208 % 10 = 8
So 547768-63-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Page/Page column 4, (2008/06/13)

The invention concerns (aryl)(amino)borane compounds and a method for preparing same. Said compounds are of formula A-BH-NR1R2, wherein: R1 and R2 are selected among linear, branched or cyclic alkyl radicals, an

Improved transparency-nonlinearity trade-off with boroxine-based octupolar molecules

Alcaraz, Gilles,Euzenat, Lisenn,Mongin, Olivier,Katan, Claudine,Ledoux, Isabelle,Zyss, Joseph,Blanchard-Desce, Mireille,Vaultier, Michel

, p. 2766 - 2767 (2007/10/03)

A series of octupolar molecules derived from the boroxine framework were designed and their optical nonlinearities were investigated by performing harmonic light scattering experiments in solution; the molecules were found to combine excellent transparency in the near UV-visible region (λ max ≤ 280 nm) and significant first-order hyperpolarisabilities (up to β(0) = 56 × 10-30 esu).
