N-Chlorothio ureas
-
, (2008/06/13)
N-chlorothio ureas are produced by the reaction of sulfur dichloride and a urea having at least one hydrogen substituted on a urea nitrogen atom in the presence of an acid acceptor. The N-chlorothio ureas are useful intermediate in the preparation of pesticides.
Preparation of 2-chlorocycloalkylthio urea compounds
-
, (2008/06/13)
Herbicidal 2-chlorocycloalkylthio urea compounds are produced by the 1,2-addition of an N-chlorothio urea to cycloalkenes. The N-chlorothio urea reactant is produced by the reaction of a urea and sulfur dichloride.
