N,N-Dimethyl-N-phenyl-1,2-propanediamine, also known as 3-(Dimethylamino)-1-phenylpropylamine or DMPP, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C11H18N2. It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a characteristic amine odor. N',N'-Dimethyl-N-phenyl-1,2-propanediamine is primarily used as a reagent in the synthesis of various pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and other organic compounds. It is also employed as a curing agent for epoxy resins and as a corrosion inhibitor in the oil and gas industry. Due to its amine nature, it is highly reactive and can form salts with acids.
