Usage

General Description

2-(4-chlorobenzyl)butanedioic acid, also known as Diclazuril, is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C15H12ClNO4. It is a white to off-white powder that is slightly soluble in water and has a molecular weight of 327.71 g/mol. Diclazuril is used as an antiprotozoal agent in veterinary medicine, particularly for the treatment of coccidiosis in poultry and rabbits. It works by inhibiting the development of the coccidian parasite within the host animal. Diclazuril is considered to be effective and safe for use in animals when administered at the recommended dosage.
