565228-37-7 Usage
Description
Poly[[2,3-bis(3-octyloxyphenyl)-5,8-quinoxalinediyl]-2,5-thiophenediyl], also known as TQ1, is an alternating copolymer based on an alkoxylated quinoxaline acceptor and a thiophene donor. It is a cost-effective medium band-gap polymer donor material used for high-performance polymer solar cells. This polymer can be easily dissolved in various solvents such as chloroform, toluene, xylene, THF, chlorobenzene, and dichlorobenzene.
Uses
Used in High-Efficiency Organic Solar Cells (OPVs):
Poly[[2,3-bis(3-octyloxyphenyl)-5,8-quinoxalinediyl]-2,5-thiophenediyl] is used as a polymer donor material for high-performance polymer solar cells. It contributes to achieving over 7% device efficiency in OPV devices when combined with PTQ1 as the polymer donor, PC71BM as the acceptor, and 1-Chloronaphthalene as an additive. This high efficiency is attributed to the polymer chain order and morphological effects, which result in a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 6.0%, an open circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.89 V, a short circuit current density (Jsc) of 10.5 mA/cm2, and a fill factor (FF) of 0.64.
Classification
Quinoxaline heterocyclic five-membered ring, Organic semiconducting materials, Wide band-gap polymers, Organic photovoltaics, Polymer solar cells, OFETs.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 565228-37-7 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 5,6,5,2,2 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 565228-37:
(8*5)+(7*6)+(6*5)+(5*2)+(4*2)+(3*8)+(2*3)+(1*7)=167
167 % 10 = 7
So 565228-37-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
