(-)-Cis- (10) and (-)-trans-6,6-dimethylbicyclohexan-2-ol (11) were synthesized.Stereochemistry of the course of synthesis was discussed.Absolute configurations of alcohols, 1S,2S,5R for 10 and 1S,2R,5R for 11, were determined.
