Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 585527-17-9 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 5,8,5,5,2 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 585527-17:
(8*5)+(7*8)+(6*5)+(5*5)+(4*2)+(3*7)+(2*1)+(1*7)=189
189 % 10 = 9
So 585527-17-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Two mononuclear cobalt(III) complexes exhibiting phenoxazinone synthase activity

Mahato, Mamata,Van Hecke, Kristof,Nayek, Hari Pada

, (2018)

Two mononuclear cobalt(III) complexes, namely [LCo(tmtp)(H2O)]ClO4?MeOH (1) (tmtp = tri(m-tolyl)phosphine) and [LCo(PPh3)(H2O)]PF6 (2), have been prepared from a polydentate ligand, N,N′-bis(3-methoxy

Syntheses, structures, optical properties and biological activities of bimetallic complexes

Mahato, Mamata,Dey, Dhriman,Pal, Souvik,Saha, Sudeshna,Ghosh, Abhrajyoti,Harms, Klaus,Nayek, Hari Pada

, p. 64725 - 64730 (2014)

A bimetallic Schiff base-metal complex [Ni(L)Na(CH3CN)(ClO4)] (1) and a coordination polymer [Zn2(L)(N3)2]n (2) (H2L = N,N′-bis(3-methoxysalicylidehydene)cyclohexane-1,2-diamine) have been synthesized and characterised by IR, elemental analyses and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The solid state structure reveals that complex 1 is a heterometallic Ni(ii)-Na(i) compound and complex 2 is a homometallic coordination polymer of Zn(ii) bridged by azide anions. The ligand coordinates to the Ni(ii) ion or one of the Zn(ii) ions through two imine nitrogen atoms and two phenolic oxygen atoms in 1 and 2, respectively. The Na(i) ion is coordinated by four oxygen atoms of the phenoxo and methoxy groups of the ligand. This is further bonded to perchlorate in 1. The optical properties of 1 and 2 have been investigated. The cellular toxicity, cellular uptake and DNA binding of complex 1 have been explored.

Two locally chiral dysprosium compounds with salen-type ligands that show slow magnetic relaxation behavior

Zhang, Li,Zhang, Peng,Zhao, Lang,Lin, Shuang-Yan,Xue, Shufang,Tang, Jinkui,Liu, Zhiliang

, p. 1351 - 1357 (2013)

Two Dy compounds, [Dy4(μ4-O)L2(C 6H5COO)6]·3CH3OH (1) and [Dy2L(H2L)(teaH2)(o-vanillin)(H 2O)](ClO4)2·2CH3OH· H2O (2, teaH3 = triethanolamine), were assembled by the reactions of the salen-type ligand N,N′-bis(3-methoxysalicylidene)-1,2- cyclohexanediamine (H2L) and different dysprosium salts and bases. These compounds show both local chirality and slow magnetic relaxation. The former is induced by an unprecedented coordination mode of the ligand H 2L, in which the N2O2 pocket encapsulates one Dy ion. Compound 1, which has four Dy ions in distinct coordination environments, demonstrates the rare Dy4 tetrahedron motif supported by a central μ4-O atom, which is akin to a chiral carbon atom in organic molecules, as revealed by single-crystal X-ray analyses. In contrast, the formation of 2, which shows an unusual structural motif with a tail, is driven by the presence of triethanolamine. In spite of the low-symmetry coordination geometry around each Dy ion, both compounds display slow magnetic relaxation behavior, but with fast quantum tunneling relaxation, as indicated by alternating current (ac) susceptibility measurements. Tetranuclear [MDy]2 compounds and their dinuclear [MDy] (M = Zn/Cu) building units: Their assembly, structures, and magnetic properties

Zhang, Peng,Zhang, Li,Lin, Shuang-Yan,Tang, Jinkui

, p. 6595 - 6602 (2013)

The reactions between a salen ligand N,N′-bis(3-methoxysalicylidene)- 1,2-cyclohexanediamine (H2L) and different metal salts lead to the formation of four 3d-4f [MDy] and [MDy]2 (M = Zn/Cu) compounds, where the [MDy]2 can be considered as resulting from the assembly of two [MDy] building blocks. Field-induced single molecule magnet (SMM) behavior was observed in [ZnDy] and [CuDy] compounds with the effective suppression of fast quantum tunneling under a dc field. Moreover, the [ZnDy]2 compound demonstrates typical SMM behavior, which may originate from the high axial anisotropy of Dy ions correlating to the change of coordination geometry and enhanced ferromagnetic interactions between Dy ions via the coupling of two [DyZn] units. The result suggests the positive effects of coupling blocking units to enhance their SMM behavior, presenting a promising strategy for constructing efficient heterometallic SMMs.

CuII-NaI heteronuclear complex as anticancer entity against human breast cancer cell lines: DNA binding, cleavage, and Computational studies

Usman, Mohammad,Tabassum, Sartaj,Arjmand, Farukh,Khan, Rais Ahmad,Ali, Mohd. Sajid,Al-Lohedan, Hamad A.,Alsalme, Ali,Farah, Mohammad Abul,Al-Anazi, Khalid Mashay,Ahmad, Musheer

, p. 229 - 239 (2018)

Herein, we report the synthesis and structural investigation of CuII-NaI heterobimetallic complex 1, which comprises of the compartmental Schiff-base ligand (H2L) derived from DACH (1,2-Diaminocyclohexane) and o-vanillin. B3LYP/TZVP DFT calculation was performed to get a deeper insight of the ground state electronic structure, and quantitative analysis of non-covalent interactions was carried out using Hirshfeld surface analysis to explore H-bonding, C-H···π, Cu···C-H and Cu···H-C interactions. Furthermore, in vitro DNA binding studies with Complex 1 demonstrated the electrostatic mode of interaction at the major groove of the DNA. Complex 1 showed the oxidative damage of pBR322 DNA via ROS generation. Additionally, in vitro cytotoxicity and genotoxicity of complex 1 were investigated on human breast cancer cells (MCF-7), revealed concentration-dependent cell viability at micromolar concentration level. Flow cytometric analysis confirmed the cytotoxic potential of complex 1 as the percentage of apoptotic cells were increased in the treatment group. Genotoxicity was evident in the induction of micronucleus and DNA fragmentation.
