1,3-Bis(4-aminophenyl)adamantane serves as a key bridging ligand in the synthesis of a binuclear gadolinium(III) complex, bis(4-Gd-DTPA-aminophenyl)adamantane, which exhibits high longitudinal relaxivity (8.43 mM?1 s?1 at 0.43 T) and demonstrates potential as an effective MRI contrast agent due to its strong T1-weighted imaging enhancement, kinetic inertness comparable to clinical standards, and low cytotoxicity.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 58788-79-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 5,8,7,8 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 58788-79:
(7*5)+(6*8)+(5*7)+(4*8)+(3*8)+(2*7)+(1*9)=197
197 % 10 = 7
So 58788-79-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Novel adamantane-bridged phenanthroimidazole molecule for highly efficient full-color organic light-emitting diodes

Guan, Hui-Min,Hu, Yong-Xu,Xiao, Guo-Yong,He, Wen-Ze,Chi, Hai-Jun,Lv, Yan-Li,Li, Xiao,Zhang, Dong-Yu,Hu, Zhi-Zhi

, (2020)

Highly efficient deep blue phenanthroimidazole fluorescent material by incorporating an adamantane moiety (AD-BPI) is designed and synthesized. AD-BPI exhibits excellent photophysical properties including a deep blue emission, high triplet energy level and photoluminescence efficiency, fine morphological and thermal stability, and ambipolar nature. Non-doped deep blue organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) following the construction of ITO (Indium–Tin Oxide)/TAPC (Bis [4‐[N, N‐di (4‐tolyl) amino] phenyl]‐cyclohexane, 30 nm)/AD-BPI (100 nm)/TPBi (1, 3, 5-tris (2-N-phenylbenzimidazolyl) benzene, 50 nm)/Liq (8-hydroxyquinolatolithium, 2 nm)/Al (100 nm) utilizing AD-BPI as emissive layer achieve the peak external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 5.8% with the CIE coordinates of (0.15, 0.07). Using AD-BPI as universal host, the corresponding green, yellow and red phosphorescent devices are also fabricated and exhibit the maximum EQEs of 23.3%, 16.7% and 19.1% accompanying with negligible efficiency roll-off under ultrahigh luminance. These experimental performances are intensely competitive with the recently reported advanced results of full-color OLEDs. It is the first demonstration of adamantane-based phenanthroimidazole molecule featuring as both host and emitter.

Binuclear gadolinium(III) complex based on DTPA and 1,3-bis(4-aminophenyl)adamantane as a high-relaxivity MRI contrast agent

Wan, Fuxian,Wang, Lipeng,Xu, Wenxin,Li, Changcheng,Li, Ying,Zhang, Chunbao,Jiang, Lin

, p. 141 - 146 (2018)

A novel dimeric gadolinium(III) complex, bis(4-Gd-DTPA-aminophenyl)adamantane (5), was successfully synthesized using bis(4-aminophenyl)adamantane to link two Gd-DTPA units. All the intermediates and bis(4-Gd-DTPA-aminophenyl)adamantane (5) have been characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, ES-API-MS, HR-ESI-MS, FT-IR and elemental analysis (EA). The longitudinal relaxivity of bis(4-Gd-DTPA-aminophenyl)adamantane is 8.43 mM?1 Gd?1 s?1 at 0.43 T (32 °C, pH 7.0), and 4.89 mM?1 Gd?1 s?1 at 3.0 T (32 °C, pH 7.4). The T1-weighted imaging in vitro showed that bis(4-Gd-DTPA-acetylaminophenyl)adamantane can enhance the contrast of images distinctly. But most of all, the kinetic inertness of bis(4-Gd-DTPA-aminophenyl)adamantane (5) was comparable to that of [Gd(DTPA)(H2O)]2? (Magnetvist). Moreover, cytotoxicity tests indicated that the bis(4-Gd-DTPA-acetylaminophenyl)adamantane exhibited low toxicity to healthy liver cells (L-02 cells). These results demonstrate that the Gd(III) complex 5 may be a promising MRI contrast agent candidate.

Method for preparing aromatic diamine containing adamantane structure

-

Paragraph 0028; 0032; 0046, (2018/03/26)

The invention relates to a method for preparing aromatic diamine containing an adamantane structure. The method includes a step (1) of causing dihalogenated adamantane and anilide to react under the protection of inert gas in the presence of a catalyst, to obtain adamantane containing diacyl amino phenyl; and a step (2) of hydrolyzing the adamantane containing diacyl amino phenyl to obtain aromatic diamine containing the adamantane structure. The adamantane containing diacyl amino phenyl includes 1,3-bis(4-acetyl amino phenyl) adamantane. The method has the advantages that the synthetic methodis high in yield and low in cost.
