Uses

Used in Cosmetic Industry:
Jojoba oil is used as a moisturizer and emollient for both dry and oily skin. It regulates the sebum produced on the skin, controlling the greasy texture while acting as a moisturizer on dry skin types. It can be mixed with regular moisturizers for enhanced skin benefits.
Jojoba oil is also used as a lip-balm for dry and chapped lips, providing relief and nourishment.
Used in Hair Care:
Jojoba oil has many benefits for hair care, promoting healthy hair and scalp.
Used in Skin Care:
Jojoba oil is used for its ability to reduce transepidermal water loss without completely blocking the transportation of water vapor and gases, providing the skin with suppleness and softness. It also gives cosmetic products excellent spreadability and lubricity.
Jojoba oil can penetrate rapidly by absorption via the pores and hair follicles, diffusing into the stratum corneum layer and acting with intercellular lipids to further reduce water loss.
It is not a primary skin irritant and does not promote sensitization. However, it is generally considered non-comedogenic, but laboratory studies indicate slight-to-moderate comedogenicity depending on the potency of the oil.
