The invention provides a preparation method for an intermediate compound of cephamycin. The preparation method comprises the following steps: in a solvent, carrying out an addition reaction and a hydrolysis reaction on 7beta-(halomethyl-methoxy)imino-7alpha-methoxy-3-(1-methyl-1H-tetrazole-5-ylthiomethyl)-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid trimethylsilane ester and hydrogen halide so as to obtain the intermediate compound of the cephamycin. According to the invention, cheap and easily available hydrogen halide is used as a main reaction reagent to replace trimethyl halosilane, so generation of byproducts and wastewater is reduced; and the preparation method disclosed by the invention is simple, low in cost, low in wastewater yield, green and environmentally-friendly, and high in target product yield and purity.
