Cyclopropane, pentylidene-, also known as 1-methylcyclopropane or methylcyclopropane, is a cyclic alkane with the molecular formula C4H8. It is a colorless, flammable, and highly reactive liquid with a strong, pungent odor. Cyclopropane, pentylidene- consists of a three-carbon ring with a methyl group attached to one of the carbon atoms.
