The spiro cycloadducts from N-cycloheptatrienylidenemethylamine oxide with alkyl isocyanates were isolated and characterized.The reaction of N-oxide with isothiocyanates afforded cycloheptaimidazole, cycloheptathiazole, and/or 2-methylaminotropothione, which were brought through the similar cycloadducts.
