Compounds having the structure STR1 and pharmaceutically acceptible salts thereof, wherein R1 is hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy, alkanoyloxy, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkyl, trifluoromethyl or methylenedioxy; R2 is hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, or trifluoromethyl; R3 is formyl or alkanoyl; m is 1 or 2; and n is 0, 1 or 2, have useful sedative and muscle relaxant activity, and can be used as tranquilizers.
